Ugly giveaway
This week's giveaway is simply a piece of fabric - this is one of those "what was I thinking" fabrics - as in, what was I thinking when I bought it? - I used a piece of it recently for a project where it wasn't going to show (it was the back of a piece of a bag I was quilting, but as the bag would have lining eventually, this wouldn't be visible, so I felt I could use it.
Anyway, there won't be that many more projects in my life which need non-visible fabrics, and frankly, if there are, I still have a few other things I no longer like, so I am offering this up to someone who can use it - perhaps for a backing for a charity quilt or something? Or who knows, you might have very different taste from me and really like it - whatever works! There is just under 2 yards of it, at full width of fabric (approx 44 inches). If you are interesting in being in the draw, as usual you should simply leave a comment on this post before Sunday.

Es lindo !! I could use it in a dress for my doll . Very glad to be in your draw , but I live in the other part of the world!!Hugs from Chile , Vero
I can always find ways to disguize "ugly fabric"!
Now you see to me that's not ugly - funny how beauty's in the eye of the beholder - I'd happily give it a good home Kate
It's not that bad, Kate. I never say no to fabric! (as you know...)
I actually like it, but I like pink/mauve colors-now if it was bright red then maybe I wouldn't be interested, thanks for the drawing!
I like it too! I mean, I generally don't care for pinks - but I like that one
Count me in...I rather like it!
With two girls in the house pink is always appreciated :o)
Count me in for the "I don't think it's that bad" category. And count me in for the giveaway as well please :0).
It's cute! Isn't that funny how one day you like something and the next you're like what was I thinking!?! I do that a lot!
Backing material always comes in handy or some little girl might like it in a charity quilt.
What are you thinking, Kate?! It's pretty! I'll give it a good home if you don't want it! :-)
Wow, I actualy like that fabric alot and I know I would use it!
Well, I like it and really wouldn't mind owning it! LOL thanks for the chance to win!!!
Pretty! I'd love to be in the draw this week Kate!
I love that fabric, for some it is ugly but to me it's lovely. It reminds me somehow of the Quilt-Pink Auction.
Many greetings from Germany

I really like it too. I have MUCH uglier stuff than that - lol. Please add me in.
I don't think it's ugly at all! I'd be happy to give it a home.
This looks like a perfect fabric to make 2 preemie quilts. Count me in on this one.
BTW I don't think its ugly!
Would love that fabric.

I have some great new fabric paints and dyes here......*L*
Toss me in this week.
"UGLY" means different things to different people. I've seen some ugly babies, but their parents thought they were beautiful! I love this fabric - thanks for offering to share!

I have to confess, I actually like this fabric! Count me in please.
I like it too!
One woman's ugly is another woman's Pretty! throw my hat in the ring for this one.
Your basket quilt came out fabulous! I too am up to date with my mystery quilt! Yea!! I have totally enjoyed this. Glad you talked me into it *wink*
I love it! I'm typically one to pick the bright bold fabrics...that fabric doesn't want to be invisible!
If it is ugly cut it small. If it is still ugly cut it smaller! I love using esthetic challenged fabrics in my quilts so I would be happy to receive that one piece.
For Jovita, I can recommend the book Threadplay with Libby Lehman: not many patterns but a lot of tips. The other tip I can give is practice, practice and more practice! Take care.
I like it... I must be strange ^_^
