Monday giveaway

These are 24 string square blocks here - they are sewn onto fabric bases and are 8" square. They would make a nice warm lap quilt for someone. I have about a zillion string square blocks (and that's AFTER these go to a new home) - for a while, I made string squares all the time with my scraps. And now, I have too many string square blocks. Obviously I could just give them to charity, but I'd rather give them to you guys... If you are interested in giving these little chaps a new home leave a comment here before Sunday...

Looks like the beginning of a great Linus quilt I could put together, very colorful and cheerful to make a child comfy.

These look lovely Kate. I would love a ew if my name came up, bearing in mind that I don't quilt and would probably make something smaller with them. (a lazy way to start a piece of encrusted crazy quilting!)

That should have read "few" (you don't have to include me twice LOL)

This shiny postcard of yours is still glittering in the light by my monitor. It's a snowflake, so I can keep it there til Spring.

Wow Kate, these look great. I have offered to make a quilt for my children's school for them to snuggle under at story time - some of theses blocks could be a great start!

Ps. Thanks for the cute Holiday card! Completely unexpected and much appreciated. (It's hanging in my office).

I can't keep up with you! Your advent stuff is lovely. It's so NOT Christmassy here! Not a single decoration to be seen (or maybe I just can't see it with the glare of the sun LOL)

Hi Kate your string blocks are beautiful. This would give me a good start to finally making one or two from my tons of scraps LOL. Scraps never disappear I think they multiply over night.
I love your Advent postings.
Happy Holidays!

I love all of those blocks. I just started saving strips to make a quilt like this. This prize would help out a lot.
