More shirts and a giveaway
I did some more of the log cabin blocks today from the shirts - there are four more to come, partly finished, but thought I'd share a photo of the 12 that are done. And a photo of the blocks I finished up yesterday. Ta da! Not much to say, really, today. As this is such as short post, I think I'll put the giveaway here as well:
The leftover two snowflake blocks from the winter quilt from the Four Seasons Quilt Swap. These are only fused onto the background, so they'll need something to hold them down - but I'm betting someone out there can find a good way to use them. The rules for the giveaway are as usual - if you are interested in winning the blocks, leave a comment on this post before Sunday.

Kate, The two quilts with your dad's shirts are turning out great. They will make a wonderful rememberance of him. Judi
Happy New Year!
*tossing my hat in yet again*
Loving those shirt blocks. Don't throw my name into the hat this week :)
It's amazing what you can do with old shirts. Put me down for the draw. If I win the blocks they have a good chance of ending up in my winter quilt.
Love the new header and "comment"
Those shirt blocks are turning out very nicely, Kate. What is it with log cabin?! I have been doing some over the Christmas holidays and so have 3 or 4 others I know of...
Like those snowflakes; perhaps I should try making some
I really like the square in square ones! don't put me in the hat! I have too much already!
The log cabin blocks are building up nicely!
I have nominated you for the "You Make My Day Award" for being an ace blogger with so much variety in your blog.
I've been a very hit&miss blogger/commentor (?) in the past few months, thats all about to change :)
I always read - 120 in my bloglines - just don't get chance to comment most days.
And why am I telling you all this? So you are not suprised when you see me keep popping up again - especially when you are doing a freebie *LOL*
Shirt quilts are looking very good.
I'm glad I've stumbled into your blog. I think a giveway is both clever and fun. Please toss my name in the hat, if you don't mind.
Loved what you did with the old shirt.
