Christmassy Monday giveaway...
Anyone feel like Christmas yet? I've been avoiding the sections of the big shops that already have Christmas stuff in them as I can't bear the thought quite yet, but I guess if one is going to make a project for Christmas a bit of lead time is in order...
Anyway, this week's giveaway is this lovely set of 8, twelve inch Christmas stars, left from a swap. There is nothing wrong with them, indeed, they are very pretty; but they are not my Christmas colours (and I have some of the same blocks, only in colours I prefer, which I will eventually do something with). I had thought originally to make something for my MIL with these, but then I won a set of basket blocks which she will like even better, so decided to pass these along.
As usual, to have a chance to win these blocks, simply leave a comment on this message before Sunday. Oh, and Merry Christmas...
Edited to say, Susan asked about the pattern for this block - I can't respond directly as it was an anonymous post, but you can find the block here, on quilt.com if you want to make your own - it's very pretty...

Once again, you have such lovely work.
Ho ho ho, I'll give them a go LOL. MIL needs an Xmas table runner so if it's lucky number 2, that would be luverly. Thanks for lettiing me play :O)
Ooh - throw my name in, please! Thanks!
Great blocks for a Project Linus project!
Oh No! Not Christmas already! LOL!
I still havent finished last year's present!
I thought and thought about the inching artists theme but couldn't put anything together. Yours are great. I think my favorite is the little mirror one. I have actually been thinking about Christmas this week for some reason...these blocks would make a lovely table runner so put my name in the pot.
MERRY CHRISTMAS?!?!? It's OCTOBER!!!!!!! (I'm still not entirely sure I'm happy it's fall yet -- give me a break!)
Beautiful blocks. I think they would be great offset with plain squares that mirrored their "flavour" in the form of quilting design. I hope that makes sense.
Oh me me me...I can never manage anything Christmas, and these would spur me along I'm sure!!!! And yes, I figured out my confusing Kate's the other day lol.
Gorgeous Christmas blocks.
Lovely Christmas blocks. Only the other day I hauled three Advent calendar panels out to do (bought them last yeat but left it too late)!!!
I utterly refuse to give Christmas a thought before 1st December, and boring old fart that I am, dust collectors will not be brought out until my birthday on the 17th. HOWEVER...I am willing to make an exception under duress if you should pull my name from the Santa Claus hat
YIKES, are we talking about Christmas already? I'm with Ms Teabag and don't want to talk about it.
Double YIKES, it's Tuesday and I forgot to sign up for the weekly drawing (jumping up and down, waving her hand saying "Pick me, Picke me!")
I love that pattern! If I don't win can you send me a link to the instructions? Even if I do win....I would like to make some more!
Love your blog -
Susan
We are all full of hope:) thank you for doing this!
Loverly blocks- one day I will make a Christmas quilt.
Sure I'd love to enter. Like I really need another project!! But I just can't resist the offer. Count me in.
They are such lovely blocks. Hate the thought of Christmas but it soon sneaks up on us.
Sue
don't put my name in, but just needed to comment on how pretty they are - and someone's idea of a table runner is pretty smart!!
