I'm a little batik teapot

Two blocks today for the birthday block swap on quilting.about.com - the teapot is for Grace, who asked for (suprise, surprise) teapots. She expressed a fondness for purple batiks, so that gave me good direction... The Christmassy block is for Robin, and it's a little late as it was due in September. And there. I'm caught up, whew!

Also made these two Dear Jane blocks today - these are for my Dear Jane swap with Cathi (6 inch blocks) and are rotary cut and pieced normally. I may well have to resort to paper-piecing etc later, but at the moment, I am just picking the blocks which are acheivable by straight piecing.

You may think this block looks familiar - that's becacuse I did it in African fabrics for Karol Ann recently and again yesterday in pink & white for Toni's quilt shop for Quilt Pink.

And in the post today - Autumn colours from Diana and K is for Kiwi from Diane.
