Every year, someone (in my house) asks me what trains have to do with Christmas - probably because I don't really know why they are Christmassy, except that there are often trains around the bottoms of Christmas trees and whatnot. And there's the Polar Express, I guess. For whatever reason, there's a train among the mini-quilts, and Sarah chose to put it up today.

It's funny. We have lights up on our house. The only pictorial ones are a nativity seen including a star. On the other side of the house we have a train! Partly because, when we bought it, Older Grandson loved trains and partly because WM works on the railways. But, like you, I have no idea what trains have to do with Christmas! And yes, we have a train around our Christmas tree too but that was a new "toy" bought in 2012.
