So, it's Monday again. And aside from a little ache from the first yoga class of autumn and a nagging wish that I at least knew when I'd be travelling to the US (and more to the point, WHERE I'll be going) I'm doing ok. I'm not the best person in the world at dealing with loose ends and waiting to know stuff... Once I know, I'm cool - it's the waiting I don't like. A quick thanks again to all of you who have commented or emailed; it's great to know so many nice, caring people.
Anyway. Here it is Monday, and time for another giveaway. Today's item is a set of 15 pairs of 9 patch blocks - they are about 6 inches square (might be 6.5; I'm not going to measure them now) and all feature some combination of black and white fabrics and brights. There is nothing wrong with these blocks - they are the ones I had from the black and white and bright carefree nine-patch swap that I decided not to use (I went with the darker ones, rather than the lighter ones). Realistically, I will probably never put these together into anything, though I like some of them very much. So, they make a perfect giveaway item! Rules of the giveaway are simple: leave a comment on this post (has to be on this post) before Sunday and you will be enterred into the draw. And that's it. Give me a year and I'll have tons of space in my sewing room, LOL. Seriously though, I'll be glad to see these go to a home where they might be used - maybe that will be yours!

Hope you know your plans soon, I also hate not knowing when there's a lot to organise.
Well I'm first to comment so I hope that's a good sign. If I should be the lucky winner, I'll make a Linus quilt out of them - so please pick me LOL
Kate, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. My dad passed away 10 years ago. He was only 63.
hope your plans come together soon.
I see you are playing with the lutrador!! can't wait to see what you did!
I'm not a very patient person either. I think that is one of the reasons I do not enjoy handquilting, it takes to long. I like results and I like them quickly. Hope you have a great week!!
I love nine patch blocks. I made a lap quilt for my stepmother for Christmas last year. Alternated with hour glass block to give effect of a star.
I am a huge fan of nine-patches so count me in!
I'm another quiter for Linus, so that gives a double chance for that Project. *S*
Love the color combos and love visiting or eh...lurking your blog..
Hi Kate, Just be reading your happenings you do strike me of being a person who needs to know where they are going and when! You have to be organized to be so productive in your creative exploits, all the mailing of your postcards and the many comments and feedback you give your readers!
I am of course throwing my name into the hat for this drawing! Right up my alley!
Take care,
Peggy
They are very pretty! I hate loose ends too. Hope your travel plans come together soon.
I see the makings of another charity quilt. Please put my name in the hat.
I hope your travel plans are soon settled Kate, and that once they are, all goes smoothly.
count me in please Kate
Hope things work out for you soon.
I'd love to enter the draw. I have some orphan nine-patch so maybe yours will match mine. Hope I win. Thanks for being so generous.
I think we can used your nine-patch in our dutch group:) It is nice to dream, no? Thank you for that!
Lovely blocks Kate. I would not mind giving them a new home :-)

Sending hugs your way on the loss of your dad. It's very difficult to lose a parent.
I love nine patches, too. Please count me in for a chance.
hi from Australia, love your chat site, been coming in for look for awhile, and you want to give stuff away, sure I would love it....I noticed the fabric selection is so different to what I can buy here, I use alot of different fabric's for scrappy quilts and now in my second Postcard group.I like the quilts in your blog and the use of fibre in the postcards...I'm still learning...lol...Cheers from Sharron Russo...
Oooh, those look like fun! Hope you get everything sorted out soon (suppose I should read on to find out shouldn't I?) -- hugs.
