This one uses some of the fabric that Karol-Ann sent me for making Linus quilts - all the masculine novelty prints inside the stars were from her. And I solved the problem of not having enough fabric for borders by usign 4 different browns. Not entirely sure the fourth one works, but it will do!
This one, I happened to have enough of a suitable fabric that I was willing to part with, so it has a single border. Just as well, really!

What a great idea for borders when you don't have enough of one fabric!
I really like the idea of adding the borders to finish them off. LOVE the second one!
