Arty start...

Something a little arty - not a lot, just a little. This top has been knocking around for absolutely ages, so I decided it was time to do something with it. Also helped that it was small and I had suitable backing fabric for it! I pinned it together and started quilting it today in my small spare time - my favourite small quilt pattern - the clamshell one.

One could argue that something either is art(y) or it is not ... and a little bit arty is akin to a little bit pregnant.

However YOU see it ... I like it: the colors, the abstract nature of the pattern and, yes, the "artiness" of it ;-)

I love that Kate. It looks so dimensional.

(ps I got my prizes in the mail. Thanks!)

Beautiful colours and I really like the quilting pattern you're using too.
