Today's choice - the apple. Another one where Alex always asks what it has to do with Christmas. So far this year, he hasn't asked. Which is good, as I don't really know the answer!
I certainly couldn't help him. Apples are in plentiful supply in Australia - year round - so they don't have any bearing on Christmas except as the sauce for the roast pork!
Well... the apple is definitely red and red is a very christmas-y colour, isn't it? :) Anyway, here in Northern Italy apples (just like oranges) are a winter fruit, if Alex asks... :)
