Finished off this Three Little Words piece, which is remarkable, really, given how busy I've been in the evenings lately - the next week will be even worse!

Cross Stitch Update

A new Three Little Words Cross stitch piece - these are great, because they really look like you've made progress, even when you haven't stitched that much! Unlike some of the bigger, more dense pieces, where it's hard to see just how much work has been put in...  I also finished off a little bit of the mystery I'm working on - just a small section, but I had run out of the colour floss I needed, and I got it in the post recently, so I was able to catch up to that.  Next week, I'm going to work on this a little, and then get out some Hallowe'eny for a few weeks!

Got a new little Three Words in the post, so of course I had to start it (can't believe I'm doing a monthly program I'm actually keeping up with - what's got into me?).  Won't take long to get through it - that's the joy of these little pieces!

Finished this up (and the colour is much truer in the photo above, which is nice).

And worked a little on this - not much, but I did finish the flower... Back to the thirteen colonies this week, hopefully I will get more done on it, though it's a busy week again, with lots of extra things thrown in...

Making progress on this Three Little Words piece - the colour is truer on the top on. Not much left to do on it, will probably finish it off this week.

Finished this one off this week (as I got the missing darker pink colour in the post) - colour is truer in the bottom photo - I should never take photos indoors at night, clearly.

Also worked a little on this - the "before" photo is not the most recent photo of the centre part, but it's the most recent one I have showing the border, which is where the work I did took place. 

And finally, I started on this, which is the second of the Three Little Words series of which the top piece is the first. I do like stitching words!

Cross Stitch Update

Finished this - not surprising, as it was mostly the border. Still need to sew on a few buttons and mount it on the felt, but that will happen a little later. 

So I went back to this piece, which I'd been a bit reluctant to tackle lately (tired, and too much potential for counting wrong and making a mistake) - got a bit finished in the lower right corner - not a huge amount but at least I'm back in the swing of the piece a bit. Plan to work on this one in the coming week, and then perhaps swap out to something else for a week. We'll see. It's all in good fun anyway - no point doing it if it stresses me!

This is nearly done - the bits which are missing I can't stitch yet, as I'm waiting on that colour from my supplier, so I will have to wait until I can finish it.  Just realised now uploading the photo and scan of the pattern that I've stitched always in the wrong colour (it's a forward slash on the pattern and the blue bird and flower are a back slash - I was reading them as the same). Do I care enough to restitch "always"? No way.

Another new little project - this one is a Lizzie Kate series called Three Little Words. I really enjoy stitching words, so I thought this was perfect for me. I've decided to do them as individual pieces rather than in one long one - then I can swap them around as I please. Or perhaps give them as little gifts...
