There are several Christmas ornaments to choose from for the advent calendar - today, Alex decided on this one - the train was in the running once again, but for some reason I'm not sure of, the ornament won out - maybe it was a hint to put up the Christmas tree (we are doing that this weekend - no time for it before that). Anyway, the poor calendar is beginning to look a little less barren now...
