Another top assembled

This is another top I put together from blocks I'd made previously - again, used as an enders and leaders project while I was doing other sewing. These are all Christmas scraps, so I suppose this will make someone a seasonal lap quilt... It lacks contrast in places, but I think it has a lot of interest close up.

i am so good at sticking my nose in and giving advice (much better than applying muscle and getting results!!) Any way, take a look at your fern leaf 2010 small quilt; sometimes it is in the header for the blog. I like it a lot, and I think this terrific little lap quilt could nicely take a similar shape: xmas tree, holly, or something of that sort in dark green across the lighter area in the lower right. It has been awhile since I machine quilted, but in "the old days" I would have quilted the basic squares and then machine appliqued the branch/tree. Anyway, I really like the piece!!!
