I'm working on a way to use that challenging fabric with the cheese and stuff on it. It actually has a little bit of blue in it, so I thought it might work with these braid strips I had lying around. I put some blue borders around them, and I'm going to try the ugly fabric as sashing/border. If it still looks TOO ugly, I will try something else!

Those braid (or bunkhouse I know them as) quilts are such fun to sew. That "cheese-y" (hahaha) fabric might look justright or if it were cut up into small enough pieces it might make nice hst's with different yellows....have fun auditioning the borders,,,Hugs, Julierose
