Quite a good amount of progress done this week with the winter cross-stitch - I finished the centre portion - backstitching, outlining, long stitch and so on, and have done part of the surrounding border (though not all of it). I was considering carrying on with the border, as I am so close to finishing, but actually, there's more work in it than it seems, so I'll leave it and swap back to something else - the next installment of the birds on the pink canvas, I think.
