Dear Jane

Only a short amount of sewing time today, between school, work, groceries being delivered, getting the car headlamp bulb replaced, book quiz at school this evening and so on (I know - you're impressed there was any time to sew, aren't you - I was! - but the car headlamp only took 10 minutes round trip as I went to this little local place and the guy put it in for me - yippee. Plus the groceries were on time and quick to unload.)

Anyway, I decided to make a couple of blocks for the Dear Jane swap I am doing with Cathi - she's way ahead of me on blocks as she made a load of them to help teach some of the ladies in her quilt group how to do the piecing with templates, so it seems I'm always struggling to catch up. I needed something small today and I was thinking of Cathi anyway, so it was ideal.

For those who follow such things, these blocks are C-1 Trooper Green's Badge and F-7 Star Struck. They are 6" blocks, not 4.5".
