It was interesting reading back what I wrote about this journal quilt at the time - looking at it now, it's definitely not one of my favourites, and it clearly wasn't at the time, either. Here's what I said.
"...a journal quilt which I don't really like - I was experimenting with sheers and angelina - like the petals I did on the summer quilt, only I wanted to try them with some angelina inside. I didn't really like what I came up with, so I took the paint to it before adding a little more angelina - that I liked better, but it's still not great. But at least I know..."
Not everything is successful every time. But it's good to experiment.
