Round Robin Tuesday

Three sets of round robin cards where I was the third person to work on the card and thereby finish it off. 

A pair of baby quilts...

...for a pair of babies - my neighbours were due to have twins in July - identical boys, but the date has been moved forward to this past Friday.  I resisted the temptation to make identical quilts. Partly, I didn't have enough fabric anyway, partly, I don't really go in for that sort of thing.  These were pieced by me, longarm quilted by Lana Dragicevich, who is another neighbour and a mutual friend, then bound by me.

Round Robin Friday

Three sets here where I made a background/starter card and then sent them out into the world to be worked on. These are often the most fun to get back because of what direction they take - sometimes it's quite expected, but sometimes, especially if the background is quite non-committal, they can be quite a surprise.

Buddy card Tuesday

So here are three sets of cards which are "buddy cards"  - as you might guess from the name, two people work on them - one starts and the other finishes. 

These have a bit more freedom than round robin cards with three players, especially if the person who starts them doesn't fill the card up much!

Three more sets where I was the middle person to work on the card - not sure why I don't have a scan of the first stage of the final cards, but sometimes these things go astray. 

Cross Stitch Update

So, it's not as though I needed another project, but I did pick up a rather large holiday themed Cross Stitch recently, and have made a good start on it. It won't be done for Christmas this year, but I hope to keep making progress. As well as stitching more on (and finishing) the Alice in Wonderland piece.

Some sets of cards where I was the final person to add to the card - these are sometimes more challenging, because there can be little space left, but on the other hand, it's nice to know you don't have to leave room for someone else!
